Energy & Mechanical Services, Inc. provides consulting services for energy reduction programs and solutions to problems associated with mechanical systems. We work along with your Mechanical Engineer as your advocate, offering energy consulting, technical assistance, and other services. In addition, we can also be engaged as a Mechanical Construction Manager. Acting as your Construction Manager, we will hold your interest above that of others which will result in a greater value for the Owner.
Our Background
Joseph G. Higgins, the founder of Energy & Mechanical Services, Inc. has extensive experience in energy reduction procedures and mechanical systems. For more than 20 years, he operated the Joseph Higgins Company, Inc., a mid-size mechanical contracting firm in Western New York. The Joseph Higgins Company designed and installed a variety of institutional, commercial, and industrial mechanical systems designed to either improve indoor comfort conditions, reduce the quantity of energy associated with the operation and/or improve the performance of an industrial process. Mr. Higgins has developed extensive experience with process boilers, HVAC, process refrigeration, compressed air and lighting systems. His underlying motivation has always been to improve operating efficiency and improve reliability.
Mr. Higgins started Energy and Mechanical Services, Inc. in 2002 as an energy and mechanical consulting firm. The combination of mechanical contracting experience, coupled with knowledge and expertise of energy issues, allows Energy & Mechanical Services to bring greater value to your project.
